Dimitry was first introduced to Opera in 2019, and his perspective is shaped by the curiosity and enthusiasm of someone discovering the Art form from outside the traditional sphere. Rather than coming from a background steeped in Opera, he represents the broader public—those who may be newer to the genre but are eager to be moved and inspired by it. This gives him a unique insight into what makes Opera more engaging and accessible to contemporary audiences.

That belief inspired his initiative to help fund contemporary Opera projects at Opera Vera—works that speak to present-day themes and experiences.
